About exposures

I love photography, both the creation of images and the technical/technological aspects.  Plus all the DSLR gear and software which goes with it.

For a while I have been posting more and more about photography on my established technology blog, Hasta la vista, Vista!, you could say polluting it with content that does not really belong there.  So I have decided to start a new blog, this one, to be the focus (no pun intended) of my observations about photography.

As is my style, it will be a bit random and decidedly personal.  I will talk about my experiences, discoveries and conclusions.  I am neither professional photographer nor professional journalist so I am not going to try to cover the market or do in-depth reviews.  That kind of material is well covered elsewhere.

I am starting by transferring my existing photography postings on Hasta la vista, Vista! over to this blog, exposures, leaving only “stub” versions behind.  Future ramblings on photography will appear here only.

Your comments and views, on any post, are welcome.

  1. Hey! I know this is sort of off-topic but I had to ask. Does building a well-established website like yours take a large amount of work? I am completely new to blogging but I do write in my journal on a daily basis. I’d like to start a blog so I can share my personal experience and feelings online. Please let me know if you have any kind of ideas or tips for new aspiring blog owners. Thankyou!

    • I’d love to be able to describe this site as well-established, but I don’t post on here nearly often enough to build it up that much. Comes of having too demanding a day job. Best tip is to blog on a regular basis, to encourage repeat visitors. In other words, do as I say not as I do.

  2. I’ve read several just right stuff here. Definitely price bookmarking for revisiting. I wonder how a lot attempt you put to make the sort of magnificent informative web site.
