Regarding use of editing software, the first picture was converted from RAW using Lightroom and saved as a jpeg without further change. The second one had the black point tweaked to add a tiny bit of contrast. Thanks for that.

If a person cant get the results they need/want with it, then they need to take some photography classes. Thanks for sharing.
